Data Cut off

Hello, I have a report memo field which cuts off data on the report. I have
the formatting properties "Can Grow" and "Can Shrink" both set to "Yes". I
don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

The control on the report can have no format property applied. The report
cannot use that field in the Grouping and Sorting dialog. The query feeding
the report cannot have any format propery on that field, nor can it be using
GROUP BY on that field, nor can it be using the DISTINCT (unique values)
clause. All of those will cause the memo to truncate at 255 characters.

These were all things that were simply disallowed in Access 97. Newer
versions were "improved" to allow these things by automatically truncating
the field . Presumably because these news groups weren't seeing enough
activity ;-)
 
Rick, I had "!" in formatting of field in table....took it off and it works
now! THANK YOU SO MUCH, I was getting very frustrated.
