How do you backup data with XP home edition? I can't find
a backup option for anything. Help only
supplies "restore" information, but not a backup option.
I do not wish to have to backup each file individually.
Does this wondows version not have any form of backup
included? any help is appreciated!

If you have a retail edition CD is it on the XP CD in the ValueAdd folder.

If you have an OEM edition, whether it is incuded or not is up to the PC
manfacturer.

Backup is installed automatically on XP Professional, but not on
XP Home. If you have the complete XP Home CD, find backup on the
CD, in \ValueAdd\MSFT\NTBACKUP and install it yourself by
doubleclicking the file ntbackup.msi.

If you don't have an XP CD, you can download ntbackup.msi at
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/software/ntbackup.msi
