data access

Upgraded to access 2003 and have problems. set up data bases but hen I go
to open them get the message " you do not have permission to use
_______object. Have your system administrator or the person creating the
object establish the appropriate permission for you."

As I am the only one using access and have established the data base how can
I access it.

Is the file on a network? Is the file secured using a workgroup? Do
you have full (read, write, create, delete, edit) permissions in the area
were the file is located?

Did you have data base files in the same location before updating to
Access 2003? Was there any change to the operation system, like a change
from NT to XP Pro?
