Dark display

I've the same problem as jody 'very dark screen with full battery' but I'm
using Acer Aspire 5050, any ideas ??

I have no idea who "Jody" is or what his/her problem was. You are not
posting on a web forum even though you think you are. You are using the
web interface to Usenet newsgroups.

If you have a laptop with a dark screen, the first step is to call Acer
tech support.
