An XML file is just a text file that happens to contain tags that mean
something to an XML parser, so anything that you can do with text, you can
do with XML. But you'd have to do it the hard way, stepping through the
recordset and printing the data to a text file, inserting the XML tags
yourself. DAO doesn't have any built-in support for XML. You would, however,
get complete control over the output. You'd need to evaluate the advantage
of having that high level of control over the convenience of using ADO or
the built-in XML support in the most recent versions of Access.
