This is a pretty friendly group, and in fact Daniel is more short than some
others, and it gives me great amusement at times. In a way I'm surprised he
didn't respond similarly, but I'm not at all surprised he didn't provide an
answer.
Who said I was offended or angry? I'm just pointing out that you shouldn't
post to a specific user, as he's likely not the only one who can answer and
he may not be able to answer immediately (people do take vacations, have
projects, etc). By addressing one user, you're essentially telling anyone
else who might have the answer to not bother answering or even reading the
post. It's to *your* benefit that you address the group to get the wides
draw of readers.
I'm also pointing out that in all posts, not just this one, it's important
to state the problem. Referring nebulously to a "previous post" isn't
terribly useful, as most people aren't willing to do a search by name to
find the post to find the question just to help you out. Again, I think I
might know what you're asking (my guess is about the tab order bug in the
2003 designer, which I am quite aware of) but how can I know for sure? I
read and answer a lot of posts, and I don't feel it's a good use of my time
to have to search for details on a question. Again, this does a disservice
to yourself, as those who may know the answer might never know the question
and therefore skip it.
So, back to the original post - I still don't know the question, so I can't
help. Daniel has posted answers to other questions since you posted the
root of this, so I think it's fair to assume he's read it and decided that
he doesn't know the answer or doesn't feel like providing an answer (since I
don't know the question, I can't begin to guess which). If you repost the
question, in the format I already suggested or any other format that lays
out what you want to know, the group may well be able to answer.
