Does anyone know of a replacement board that is as good as the Intel DX58SO
and capable of running in crossfire mode? Mine got damaged around Friday
(USB ports shortcircuited by vandals/uninvited guests!) it worked for
awhile, and i tried a bios update, but no luck!

A quick look see at eBay shows quite a few of these boards are still
available. Cheapest Buy-It-Now was $150. but you could always try to get it
cheaper at one of the auctions.

Another thought, if it is only the USB ports that are bad, replace them with
a USB card. Many come with additional headers on the card so that front
panel USB ports can be hooked up to them. Much cheaper than a new
motherboard.
