Hi. I´ve recently been working in a database that took me
a lot of
work to do, in Access 2000. But today, i was typing in
Access and
sudently all windows closed remaining only the main
Access window with
nothing on. I´ve closed Access and tried to open the file
again but
the file appears to be empty, i think it´s damaged. What
can i do to
fix it?

Does anybody know any Free Database Fixer Software? I´ve
search the net and found that are many programs that can
fix databases like AccessFix, but are too expensive. Does
anybody know if Microsoft has released this kind of
software? Do you know any free?

Thanks

Microsoft has "JetComp" for free and DbMaint has a shareware product. Both
do low-mid level repair and compact without the need for Access running.
