Damaged Bluetooth USB connector?

Been having some problems with a Tevion USB Bluetooth dongle. It works
great sometimes, but usually it's very crackly. Trouble is when I push
it in a certain direction, or hang a weight of it, it gets better. This
makes me think the connector is duffed rather than the transmitter. If
one of the connections is damaged can you get a "crap" mode where the
signla goes about 2 feet?
Any ideas?

Guess its possible since its powered from the USB connection.

These are now so cheap on ebay that you might as well just buy another.

It's a defective unit. Return it if you can.
