Damaged A7V8X Rev 1.04 - Need info on RN175

I hit one of the dual resistor packs (RN175) between the heatsink clip and
the first memory slot with a screwdriver and damaged it. Searching this
group for "A7V8X schematic" I found a similar issue and some information
suggesting it is probably 22.1 Ohms. Can anyone confirm the true value of
RN175? No response from Asus so far... Thanks!

My old board is a desktop ornament now so I just checked and it is 22 ohms
across RN175. I cant find a Rev no. but RN175 is 'sitting out in the open'
towards the cpu socket -seems the one alright.

Email me if you'd like to get rid of it. I could use your RN175!!

just RMA the board....Asus is great....i sent two boards back to them:
1. a7n8x deluxe rev. 2
2. a7s333
both were broken and in 2 weeks they sent back to me two no ones at no
surcharge....works like a charm now

Hmm, i find it a pretty piece of junk, Ive been eyeing up the caps, leds,
batteries etc myself (makes me think about recycling, robot wars..)
Its a bit big to post too...
If it turns out easy enough to take off RN175 I could post it over the
Atlantic easier .

Do you know how sensitive it would be to getting over exposed to the heat
of a soldier iron, should be okay right? Or should I be microcareful with
melting it off ?

*\/^\/* Now I could be secretive here, because this run of Nick Im using
connects to a long anonymous history -which Id like it to stay that way
(from all but the good and the great).
so if *you* dont mind telling me where youd like it mailed, I could send it
easy enough -for gratis- ive some messages to do at the Post office anyway
:]
Postage would be a couple of quid (pounds) which you could balance your end
by tipping a tramp! Beware though, if you forget your part of the deal, Ill
have little people put laxatives in your soup.

' google eyed;)
