I've got two Linksys KVM2KIT KVM switches, with the cables attached to a
compact unit where a single keyboard, mouse and monitor are plugged in to.
You switch between systems by hitting "Scroll Lock" twice..

I was wondering is it was possible to daisy chain 2 units, to get 3 systems
in a KVM sharing situation... I know.... there's a 4-port version... I jut
happen to have two two-port models...

Just wondering...

i don't think it will work...
but since you already have them...i doubt if it will hurt any thing to give
it a try

Draw up a diagram. You're obviously smart.
I would but it's a lot of work.

What does the documentation say? The KVM that are chainable usually mention
it as a selling feature in the documentation.

You may well lose the ability to swap through the keyboard to the third
system, but other than that I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

I'd try to set it up with the primary system on kvm 1, attached to kvm 2
with both other systems stuck on kvm 2. That way you should still be able to
use the "scroll lock" swap from the primary to the other two, but may then
have to manually swap between them.

Good luck.
