Auto scan ran at 0200 and found 14 threats. No action
taken.When I ran a new scan at 0800 it reported O
threats.I have done a print out of the 0200 scan which
lists 88 infected files but cant get the system to deal
with it.Do I have to delete them all manually?

Did you do a quickscan, or a full scan, at 0800?

I would recommend checking at Help, about to see whether you are on 5682
definitions. If not, go to File, update definitions.

Once you are on the newest definitions, do a full system scan, rather than
the intelligent quick scan.

If this comes up clean, I'd stop there, but you could run some of the items
flagged from 0200 by us here and see if anybody can figure out what happened
to them. Are you absolutely sure no cleaning was done?

I did a full scan at 0800 after updating definitions. The
scan history definitely saya no action taken after the
0200 scan.I have run another full scan which still
reports no spyware. Is it possible that previous scan
results are being excluded as already having been
reported?Otherwise I will just leave as is for the time
being.

You might take a look at the quarantine locations--I've heard that the
default setting for a scheduled scan is to quarantine threats found, so if
stuff was actually cleaned, there should be items in quarantine.

Tools, spyware scan, manage spyware quarantine.
