when trying to back-up my quickbooks to disk in the D drive I get the error
message "the drive you specified is not ready". There is s disk in the drive.

you may have to
format the disk

or you might try to
create the backup
on the hard drive,

then copy that file
onto the removable
disk.

to restore it in the
future, you would
have to copy it from
that disk onto the
hard drive

then restore that
archive from the hd.

I asked my psychic advisor, and she thinks your D drive may be either a
CD or DVD drive.

Unfortunately, even she couldn't guess what backup software you're using.

You ever thought about doing something about your line wrapping
length? Seems a bit short to me.

As I recall, he's using a VIC-20, which has a 22 character per line wrap
limitation, so it appears normal on his screen.
