I'm trying to install Norton Internet Security but the D
Drive wont detect the cd. I'v tried to launch it in my
computer but it's not there, and when I go to Run, it
tells me to insert cd. The drive works fine with every
other disk, not this one though. The Disk itself is ok as
I loaded it on to another computer (W98) without a problem.
Please Help!!!!!!

make sure dma is enabled for both ide controllers under
device manager.

could be the cd drive on your pc that does not like the
media used to make the cd, not uncommon to happen.

Some drives simply wont accept certain brands of cd's.

try taking the cd drive from the 98 pc and installing it
in your pc, try then, let me know.

Sounds like you are using a copied disc that was not finalized properly.
Use a purchased version of the CD and you will have no problem.

The version was purchased from Symantec, by me last
