games that install last time I tried to install them. they
get started then it freeze and the cd drive clicks and is
stalls for about 2-10 min and then give a error message?

Sounds like a faulty CD-ROM drive or possbily cable, does it work with any
programmes?

Possibly the CDROM drive lense is dirty. Try cleaning it using cd head
cleaning kit. It's also possible the CDROM is dirty or scratched causing the
read errors. Clean the CDROM as well.
