can an epson cx3200 be installed though a print server on a network.

i will be trying to do it this weekend but i remember that the install
program needs to find the printer.
i don't expect that to happen though the print server so i am wondering if
the printer can be networked.

thanks

Probably (depends on the printer)(some printers won't work through print
servers.
It's simplest IMO, if your print server has a netword address in the same
range as your machine. Give it one using the print server utility (or
whatever)

Click on add printer (or similar) if xp. w2k etc you will need to create a
new tcp-ip port on your local machine, then add the ip address of the print
server. You should then be asked for a driver. If the driver for you machine
isn't already installed, you can browse an installation disk (for the
printer) and look for the driver for your operating system. If it doesn't
find any then simply preinstall the drivers from the cd and run add printer
again.
