CWShredder found a 'cwstrojan' ........

...which was keeping my 'spybot' from loading.It
was 'cws.Xmlmimefilter'.It said it came in thru the 'MS
JAVA VM' area.I checked for updates and it said ;--'WIN
XP Service PackSP1,present,..not 1A.I checked for JAVA
and it said I had type 5.0.3810.--So how did it get
thru??--I checked my 'down load history'-- and on the
first one--'XP SP1' Instead of what the other downloads
say--'finished'-'complete',..whatever--It says '..'in
progress'!--Does that mean my sp1 is NOT whole??--Should
I attempt to DELETE sp1-'in progress',--and upload with
SP1a--which is an improvement in that as i've already
read,(for the last 6 hours..*sigh*..)about how SP1a
eliminates this JAVA problem instead of putting
a 'bandaid' on it??--Can I put SP1a OVER it and remove
the JAVA as a problem without removing anything first>>/?-

Didnt CWS remove the trojan?

The Microsoft hotfix that is supposed to fix the Java
exploit does not work!!! Try running ad-aware to remove
it they have an option for a stealth plugin.

Thanx,..'MAP' for the info..--The 'cwsshredder' removed
the TROJAN' fine--I just am trying to see if i'm missing
a 'DOUBLE-SECRET' patch or something!!--But u SAY it
doesn't stop the JAVA hole anyway!--I'm jus SICK an'
TIRED of havin' AN-OTH-ER window I have to monitor to see
where the next ATTACK is comin' from!!--Seems like I
gotta bout '8' watchin' THIS,..CHECKIN' that!!---*sigh*
