Hi

I need some help on this. I have spyware, virus or something that I can not
remove. It pops-up Internet explorer windows from time to time while I work.
Also, it occupies my default IE page. It is quite anoying. I've already gave
up using IE for the future. I have it for months because tools like below
doesn't help:
spybotsd13.exe
CWShredder.exe
aawsepersonal.exe

I mean, all these tools help me removing CWS, but it is back very soon. (I
guess CWS is my problem). I also tried "hijackthis", but I'm not sure what
should I delete with it.

Does anybody have such bad experience and some knoewledge how to remove it?

Thanks
Vito

Have you run the avove apps in safe mode?

I'd agree with Vito to run in safe mode as well as normal mode - did this on
a friend's computer with adaware and spybot, and they both found things in
safe mode after reporting normal mode as clean.

But also look at this if you think CWS is the culprit - download the
CWShredder from there.

And by the way, the general advice from the HijackThis pages is not to
delete anything it identifies until checking out your results on the
HijackThis forums at http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ - you can post your log
there and the regulars will interpret it and give you direct advice.

Good luck

Hi to all

I did as you suggested, cleaned it in safe mode, also with CWSshredder.
After I run it again and worked for few hours, a winodw poped again. Then I
run CWSShredder again and I found "CWS.HiddenDll" again. :( So, somehow it
is "reinstalled" on machine....

Any other idea? Thanks in advance ;)

Have you run hijackthis.exe in safe mode and posted the results in the
hijackthis forums? It seems as though something has been missed and the app
has repaied itself. Also see http://forums.techguy.org/t343064.html

Do you have any P2P programs installed? (Kazaa, iMesh, eDonkey, BearShare,
etc.)

Are you visiting any warez, porn, or some other hobby site over and over?

No, nothing of such...
