cutomizing theme graphics

I customized a theme by chaning the background graphic. However, I don't
want it to repeat down the page. Is there way to disable repeating the
background graphic when using themes?

perhaps you could use a little .css as in this article:
http://www.codeave.com/css/code.asp?u_log=4014
to specify the background on your pages rather than going at it with the
theme. you could simply not use the background image from the theme (but
still use the theme to keep the buttons and stuff) and get the benefit of
the non-repeating background.

no.....unless you make the graphic the size of the page otherwise the 'tiling'
effect is what you end up with.....normally with those themes the tiling should
be seamless and it should appear to look like one continuous image, but since
you've altered it you may have messed it up so it isn't as seamless as originally
intended.
