Cut/Paste from Internet Explorer to Office

I am using Office 2003 SP1 on Windows XP.

When I try to cut/paste a certain table from Internet Explorer to Office
(either Excel or Word), some of the numbers are converted to date/time, or
anyhow changed to different numbers, while other numbers remain unchanged.

Example:

Series on Explorer (correct values)
104.42 22.64 118.07 83.78 4 612.08 582.27 167.29
Series in Excel (Cut/paste)
104.42.00 0,961111111 118.07.00 83.78 4 612.08 582.27.00 167.29.00
Series in Excel (cut/paste values)
4,3625 0,961111111 4,921527778 83.78 4 612.08 24,26875 6,978472222

How can I solve the problem? On another PC, using Office 2000 SP3 on Windows
2000, cut/paste from that table works ok, the numbers are correctly
understood.
