??? How can they scrap GMT when timezones all around the world are calculated relative to it?
Or would Britain just be GMT +/-so many hours?

Have to confess I wouldn't mind having Daylight savings time all year round
Reckon we need that extra hour of light in the winter even more than summer
But then, it was bad enough trying to untangle the goat in the snow that day... wouldn't've liked to do it in the dark as well.
I'm afraid though that I don't understand why this would effect road accident rates?
surely getting people up to drive to work an hour or two earlier would increase rather than decrease accident rate?
