Dear All,

I am wondering if you could help, yesterday some of our
users used the "cut and paste" option to copy some files
up a few levels in the same directory structure on a
Win2k server....

Instead of letting us do the users stated
that "something" happened and some of the folders are
missing, i have not got auditing set up so is there a way
to track down how or what has happended to the them??

Thanks

Keith

Keith,

Without auditing previously turned on, then there is no way to find out what happend to those
folders. You can restore from a backup and then enable auditing to track such issues in the
future.

Thanks,
Gary
