Cut and Paste

I deleted some files and uh-oh..I can't cut and paste
between applications. I emptied my waste basket and can't
figure out which file it is that I probably deleted.

Can anyone tell me which file I should restore ?

Between which applications do you want to exchange data using "cut and
paste" ?
In my opinion there´s no file responsible for the cut-and-paste
capatibilities - so the file deletion will not be the reason.
