Cut and Paste Subtotals

When I run subtotals sometimes I need to transfer the
subtotals to a new worksheet to run different formula's on
them. The only way I seem to be able to cut and paste
them to another work sheet without getting all the detail
lines is to use the control key and select them with my
mouse. Is there some way I can just select the subtotals
and paste the values to another worksheet. The way I am
doing it now seems awful tedious

Hi Dan

:) been there :)

click on the outline numbers so that only the subtotals are showing,
select the subtotal labels & values
choose Edit / Goto / Special / Visible cells only
choose copy
go to destination
choose edit / paste
