Hello,

Is it possible to customize the "Look In"-option within Windows Search? It
starts empty or in "My Computer" because there are no logial drives (cd-rom,
hard disk, etc.) attached to the computer, but I would like to specify a
network drive it should search.

Thanks in advance,

Bas

If you have an Explorer window open, right-click on the network drive
and select Search.

I don't know how to create a regular shortcut to do it, though.

Thanks for your response. It's an option to right-click on the network
drive, if not the end-users aren't experienced and will use the standard
search function of Windows. They search the complete network, because they
don't change the "Look in"option. This way they generate a lot of network
traffic. A shotcut would be an option, because the search function can be
disabled through a policy.
