Hello!
I'm having a problem and I hope someone can help.
I'm running XP Media Center Edition on a Gateway 610XL.
I'm trying to customize the My Documents folder w/ only
folders I use. Every time I try to delete the "My
eBooks" folder, it automatically comes back again a day
or so later. I've tried the right click delete menu,
tried dragging it to the recycle bin, and even tried to
make it a "hidden" folder but it still keeps coming back
automatically.
Can anyone out there help me out?
Thanks!

Hi D.C.,

This is caused by the ebook plugin of Adobe Acrobat reader. To prevent the My ebooks folder from
appearing again, move the ebook.api file from

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\plug_ins

to this folder:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\optional

And now you can delete the My ebooks folder and it would not appear again. Also note that moving the
above mentioned file will prevent Adobe acrobat reader from loading the ebooks plugin. If you want
to revert back at a later stage, simply move the file back to the original location.
