Is it possible to customize the "TO" button to show only those
contacts in which there is a valid email address for?

After merging all the "contacts" from our "PALM" desltop application,
we have too many contacts and most of them have only phone numbers. I
was able to customize the "CONTACTS" folder to show only those
contacts that contain a valid email address but when you open a new
email message and click the "TO" button, it still shows all the
original cantacts as well.

The Outlook Address Book shows all valid electronic addresses: e-mail, fax
and mobile phone. It will not show phone numbers.

Is it possible to filter out all numbers except the email
address (using registry)?

I tried removing fax service to no avail. So I have
resorted to enter contact fax number in an unused field
(e.g. Telex) to reduce the clutters when using "TO"
button.

Thanks in advance,
KK

No.
The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:
