On taskbar properties :customizing my taskbar (in the "Notification Area"),
I selected various actions (hide or show when inactive), but in the drop
down arrow, in Past Items, I noticed the Outlook Express, "you have new
email". How do I get it in current items, so it will pop up on the task bar
when new email is present. I am using Windows XP.
Thank you kindly.

Get new mail and the list will adjust itself. I don't know why the icon
moves to "Past items" when there isn't new mail but it does.
