Customizing Start Menu

I used to be able to pin and unpin items to start menu. I can no longer do
either. Any suggestions?

Pamela, you could try rt clicking on Start Button>select
Properties>General Tab Increase the number of Programs on
Start Menu to a higher value, select Small Icons and in the Advanced
Tab make sure that Enable Drag and Drop is
checked.

I have the same problem of not being able to Unpin items in my Start menu on
XP Home. I have downloaded your suggestion but it did not help. Do you have
any other suggestionsplease?

Right click the Start button
Select Properties
Select the Start Menu tab
Click the Customize button
Select the Advanced tab
Scroll to "Enable dragging and dropping" and check it
OK, OK
