Is it possible to customize the way you save a file to a
network folder. I spend a lot of time clicking to network
drive, folders and subfolders. I am looking for a way to
save more quickly to a shared network folder without
having to click through the tree. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

The best way to do this is to create a new drive mapping
deeper within the tree. Windows XP is not too friendly
about this - it will only show the "map" option when right-
clicking on a share.

To create a mapping like this, in Windows Explorer, click
on Tools, and Map Network Drive. Choose the drive letter
you wish to use, and then enter the full UNC path to the
folder you wish to map - i.e. "\\test\c$\documents and
settings\user\my documents".

I know this works on windows 2003 and XP. Mapping drives
in this fashion did not used to work on NT without
additional software.

Hope this helps,
