I re-installed W98SE and Office 2000 including Outlook.

I customized Outlook Today, and set Outlook to open on
that page. I created some additional mailboxes and added
them to my shortcuts. I then wanted to customize Outlook
Today to include those additional mailboxes and to make a
few other cosmetic changes. I cannot get into "customize
outlook today" anymore.

Somewhere along the way during installation Outlook Today
became Personal Folders - Outlook Today. I think this may
be my problem but Help doesn't explain what a personal
folder is, how I created it, why I need, or don't need
it,or what I'm supposed to do with it.

Any suggestions, or links to anything that explains this
to me.

Toby,

You still stuck, if so, email me on
(e-mail address removed),we may be able to help each other
out!

I believe there was a patch that closed this as a potential hole.

See if this helps:

Quit Outlook 2000.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then clic
OK.
Locate and then click the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Applicatio
Compatibility
Click Edit, click New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type Outlook.exe, and then press ENTER. This creates a new DWORD valu
named Outlook.exe.
With the new Outlook.exe DWORD value selected, click Edit, and the
click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.
Start Outlook 2000, and then go to the Outlook Today view.
Click Customize Outlook Today, and then customize the view a
necessary.
Repeat steps 1 through 8. When you do step 8, set the Outlook.exe DWOR
value to 0 instead of 1
