Customizing a recurring appointment

Our organization's meetings are setup around a specific date of the month
that being the second wednesday in the month. That initial monthly meeting
is easy to setup. The problem I have is all the other meetings are set up
around that one. For instance about 6 days before the previously mentioned
one. (Can't really find a scheduling option that deals with this)

Any suggestions?

Thanks Jocelyn.. I looked at that addin and it didn't meet my requirements
though.

Just out of curiosity I was wondering why that feature appeared in outlook
when it was a stand alone product many years ago and didn't remain? I
remember it used to have the option of setting an appointment at a specific
interval + or - either days or hours whatever you wanted?

To my knowledge, Outlook has never been strictly a standalone product; it was
always a part of the Office suite, starting with Office 97 (though you could
buy Outlook by itself if you wanted to). I did a little research to see if
there was an "Outlook 95" because it's been such a long time I can't
remember, but it seems most folks think that if there was an Outlook 95, it
was really just the mail client for Exchange 4.0.

In any event, I don't remember the functionality you are remembering to have
been part of Outlook in any version I've used -- perhaps you are thinking of
the Exchange mail client or even Schedule+. However, if I'm wrong, someone
will probably jump in and correct me :)

Technically the recurrence pattern binary for Schedule+ is exactly what is
used by Exchange/Outlook, so the recurrence patterns you can set are
identical.

I suppose it could have been another program.. we were using Lotus Organizer
for a while.. I'll have to check it out.. I would hope that could be a
feature that could be added to allow for recurring appointments that are all
based on a certain day of the month + or - some time frames

Until or unless the mail store architecture is moved to SQL server or MSDE
for PST files and Exchange mailboxes you won't see that, or any changes to
the allowed recurrence patterns. Any changes or additions would break many
years of coding and custom applications as well as any older versions of
Outlook.
