Greetings,
I am having troubles with a consistent deployment of Outlook. Sometimes when its installed the user needs to input no information. Other times the user is prompted for email server and mailbox information.
Here is what I have done:
1. Created an administrative installation point
2. Created a transform using the CIW
3. Edited setup.ini to utilize custom MST
This did not produce consistent results, so NEXT:
1. Created a custom Outlook.prf file
2. Using CIW, I included the NewProf.exe with the above PRF file.
3. Redeployed the MST
Still did not create a consistent deployment. Some workstations work just fine while others keep prompting for email server and mailbox names.
Can anyone provide suggestions? I monkeyed around with deploying the above application through GPOs, not sure if that is whats geeking me up or not.
TIA,
Andy
