-Did you completely erase your original IE version off of
your computer? If not, it's still there. You just need
to delete the custom version. If you did delete it or it
was overwritten, I would suggest that you look through any
original computer cd's that came with your computer. Many
of them carry a version of IE. My modem software has a
version on it- many games do too. Just load the cd, and
check it's contents. A lot of cd's have extra stuff on
them in a folder called 'extra stuff" that a lot of people
do't realize is even there. Especially if "autorun"
invokes....it skips letting you actually look at the files
and foleders on the disc. Also, if you have a system
backup on disks (could you be lucky enough?) also, if you
have a "restore" disk, like an emergency disk that came
with your computer. It can put some or all of your
computer back to factory condidion....be careful and get
help if you aren't familiar with the way they work. They
