Customize ???

I have been reading these posts in "customize" group for
a few days now. Most of them appear to be problems.
Does anyone have suggestions to "customize" winXP without
downloading special software. Things like changing the
toolbars, start menu, windows views, colors, etc.

What is your favorite customize item?
