Using table view on a calendar folder, is there a way that can group all the
appointments by the month and year of the starting date?

What I am trying to achieve is to work around the limitation in Outlook that
only a limited appointments can be seen using calendar views on a single
day. Using table views, I am able to see all the appointments but I need a
way to group them by month.

If it is not possible, how can I set up a filter that list all appointments
'on and after this month' ?

Regards,
Raymond

Did you try a custom view that uses group by? To get it by month and year,
you'll need to tweak the view or use a custom field, but it should be
doable. (Outlook 2003 can group by today, tomorrow etc) You may need to use
filtered views, if so, use Advanced tab to set up the filter criteria.

If all else fails, add a category for the month and year and group by that.
(Add a category to one appt and group by categories, then drag others to the
category and it will add them to it.)

Be aware that recurring appointments will group only on the start date.

I have already tried using a custom view in Outlook 2000 without success.
There isn't an option to group by month. I have also tried using filter
using 'on and after' but only the value 'Today' is accepted. In my
situation, I will need to group the appointments by month.

We already have hundreds of appointments in different public folders that
needs this functionality. I will have a look of the categories option that
you suggested.

Thanks and regards,
Raymond
