Customize Notification Question - !!!

Terri

In Windows XP Pro my Customize Notification changes overnight. I set my
Local Area Connection to "never show" but every morning when I log on -
there it is again on the taskbar!
How do I correct this?
Thanks!

Double click the Icon on the Notification Area and the Local Area Connection
Properties window will open with the default General Tab Active, if not click
on it.
Down Under locate these two check boxes and Uncheck them:
[ ] Show Icon in notification area when connected
[ ] Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity

Does the Above help?.
If it didn't try this:
Did you Right click the Start Button and select Properties then on the
taskbar and Start Menu Properties Under Taskbar Tab click on Customize Button
opposite this:
[ ] Hide inactive icons [ Customize...]
There Highlight the Local Area Network Icon and select from the drop down
list Always Hide.
Save Settings on Exit - Don't Save Settings
