Can the text "Ctrl+Click to follow hyperlink" be customized for images? I am
interested in customizing the hyperlink text for each picture. Thank you in
advance for your help.

What you need to do:
Insert an image on your page.
Click the image to highlight it.
Click the hyperlink icon on the toolbar.
Browse to or enter the link to the page you want to open.

Your image is now a clickable hyperlink.
It will work when you use "Preview in browser" or the F12 key.

Steve,

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I should clarify my request. I am interested in
creating descriptive text for each image on my site. For example, when I
hover over an image I would like a text box to appear. In this text box, I
would like to describe the picture.

For example, when writing this reply a text box appears that states "Enter
your text". I would like to do this for each picture on my website.

Thanks,

I believe you would use the 'title' tag.

The "Click Ctrl+Click to follow hyperlink" is a Frontpage thing - when you
preview in Frontpage, that's just telling you *how* to follow the hyperlink.
it won't do that on the live web.

If you want the "tool tip" text for your links, then enter it in the
hyperlink dialogue box (near the top/right) for each link.
