One of the custom fields that you are able to add for a contact is a date.
How do you get these custom fields to link to your calendar? If I add a
significant date in one of my lead's lives, then I sure want that to be
automatically tracked in my calender(with an Alarm to remind me of that
particular date). Is this currently possible or is it a feature that needs to
be added?
 
It's a feature that needs to be added. You can create a date field but it
won't automatically populate on the calendar.
