Hi

I didn't know which forum to put this in and i know this is strictly a
'windows' forum, but i was wondering if anyone could help me with modding my
computer.

I have a Packard Bell iEtreme, plain white colour which is boring the hell
out of me.

I have seen a few cases and was wondering if there was anything stopping me
from just ripping everything out of the existing case and putting it all in a
new, more appealing case.

If you can't help, could you point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Yes Andy this can be done. Having said that, if you needed to ask that
question, maybe you should get someone with knowledge of assembling
computers to help you out. Pretty straight forward for a techie to do.

Girls do this, not boys. And there is nothing to stop a girl from doing it as you describe. Pride should stop a boy.

Make sure your motherboard is an ATX format - most common these days. For an
ATX motherboard, you need an ATX case - so that the screw holes in the
motherboard fit the holes inside the case.
Since you don't need a new power supply, buy a case without one.
PC case prices vary from $20 to $200 (plastic, steel, aluminium); just
google for "computer case sale" or something. You can also should google
"computer case reviews" - at least you see how they look inside.
I have a Cool Master - the Wave Master - that sells for $150 or so and does
a good job.

Hi Andy,

Many here are customizing via spray painting the tower cover using
templates, etc. The last brought in here to my shop was painted camouflage.
Looked great!
