Customised Folder Types

I recently up graded from XP Home to XP Pro. I have all
my mp3's and other media on my C: drive and my Windows
install on the E:. Everything was working fine until, for
some bizarre reason, I decided to set one folder as the
default (where all other ones will be modelled on it -
the way files are views and the folder type). So then
everything was viewed in the 'Tile' format and now
everything is a 'Music - Album' folder. I changed it back
to just 'Document' type of folder, but now I can't
organise by Track Number in the folders I specifically
changed back to 'Music - Album' type (on the C: drive).

So, when browsing through some other drives (I have from
C to H, other than D) I found most still have the musical
note at the background.

Anyway, that's the long winded way of asking, is there
any way to reset the whole thing back to the default
settings, and is there a way I can get my sort by track
number back too?

Thanks for any help and sorry for rambling on there

View menu - Choose Details. These are the columns seen in detail view. You
can only sort by columns set to display no matter what view you are in.

You have to say what you did. Exactly. I long ago gave up guessing at how
people use their computers. But usually they have some wierd concepts in
their heads.

Ah, thank you _very_ much David. That helps a lot. I
don't really mind about this sort of stuff, but I do like
to have my music in track order in the Album folders I
creat.

Thanks again.
