customised field inserted into footer - powerpoint

hi - is it possible to insert a customised filed into a powerpoint footer? I
can create the field but inserting it is a different matter.....hmmm.....

Afraid not ... PPT doesn't allow this the way Word does.

You'd have to add the text to the footer manually.
