Every customer list data-entry variation creates a new listing. For example,
“Mrs. Smith’s†entered as “Mrs. Smiths†creates yet another “customer,†tied
to the transactions recorded to the variation.
Can ACCESS work through a table of several thousand listings, group probable
variations, and update transaction detail to a single, standard customer name
for each customer.
A further complication develops when a customer changes or adds addresses or
drop ships to third party addresses.
