Windows Explorer no longer displays Web view templates or HTML
customizations. This can be changed in XP Pro service pack 1 (see article at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/819028/), but I run XP Pro service pack 2,
which doesn't contain the registry keys referred to in the aforementioned
article. Is there a way to permit my version of Windows to use web view
templates and customizations?

Hey, thanks for the tip, I liked HTT in Windows 2000 and miss it in XP.

I'm using XP SP1 and the key doesn't exist either. Just create it. I'm guessing that you only have this much:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
right? Just right-click on Policies and select New->Key. Name the new key "Explorer", and create the values specified.

Alec, thanks for your help. It didn't allow me to get "exactly" the same type
of web view as I had in Windows 2000, with an image preview window in the
lower right corner of the main file window - complete with zoom and pan
controls, but I do now have the preview window back - just no zoom or pan
controls. I work with digital images for the better part of each day so even
without the missing controls it's still a big help to me, thanks again :-)

Sure, np. Unfortunately, XP removed some functionality for some reason. Another is that Photoshop images don't have thumbnails
like they used to. :(
