That may be so, however, I do not have any tables. Yes I did have, but as you suggested, I have converted the table(s) to normal ranges and still no custom views. I find that in their desire to make their software more user freindly, Microsoft have incorporated features (like this one) whereby one has to either have a masters degree in Excel from Harvard, together with a similar Masters degree in computer science from the other big uni who's name escapes me for the moment. Plus a masters degree in visual basic, together with a masters degree in Microsoft Windows (all versions from Windows 3.1 onwards), to enable ones-self to extricate ones-self from these supreemly frustrating situations. I have now spent three days on the internet trying to recover from a siuation with a spread sheet that took me three weeks to enter all the data into.
