Whenever I add tool bars or rearrange the location of
toolbars on IE, my changes always disappear when I close
the application and re-open it. I'm even locking the
toobars after I make my changes. Does anyone know what's
going on and how to make my changes persist?

Hi Jeff,

Three possibilities:
1. Corrupt Toolbar layout
2. AutoTKit program causing this (in case of a HP/Compaq unit)
3. A malware, fash.exe or something causing this

Internet Explorer Toolbar settings are not saved

For Case 3:

I'm guessing my problem has to do with #2, since I have a
HP machine. Do you know how to modify or delete the
AutoTKit program to get rid of this issues?

It's addressed in the URL I provided. Uncheck from MSConfig Startup tab.
