Does anyone know of an add-in or did PowerPoint 2007 improve on the
dialog for creating Custom Shows? I teach and would like to have all
my slides in one file for updating, improving, etc. The courses I
teach on my topic can last anywhere from one hour to 45 hours, so I
would like to create multiple Custom Shows from the same file to use
in these various courses. However, this is very difficult because of
the limited size and information on the PowerPoint 2003 Custom Show
dialogue box.

A suggestion: instead of keeping all of the slides in a single file and
dealing with the management problems that can create (not to mention the
increased likelihood of the file going corrupt and trashing all of your work
instead of just a portion of it) look at some of the various programs available
for maintaining a slide library and assembling presentations from it.

I've played with one called SlideWhere that's quite inexpensive and might do
all you need.
