Custom reports for real estate

I'm going to create a database of hundreds of houses that are all in
different stages of construction. I want to use Access to create status
reports that show how far along each house is. Is Access the right program
for the job?
 
Access would definitely be able to accomodate you and your data. Is there a
reason you posted in the reports section? are you interested in presenting
this data in something other that table format?
 
Right now my company keeps track of things by writing completion dates down
in folders. I'd like to be able to record those dates in Access, then create
a report that shows house numbers on the Y-axis, project codes on the X-, and
the completion dates for those projects within the table.

Then, I'd like to create product ads by pulling a picture and project
information from a house's record and putting it into a custom layout (like
product info screens on Amazon or other e-shopping sites). This has the
possibility of saving my company lots of time and allowing us to take on more
business. Any thoughts would be more than appreciated.
