The problem we are having has to do with custom papersize
and Access XP (but seems to be an issue with other OS's
too)
Scenario:
In access we created a report, and under page properties
from the File Menu we set the Paper Size to a custom Paper
size we created (in this case 8.5 x 3.5). We also
selected Use Specific Printer (in this case Okidate ML 320
Turbo).
Problem:
The report works fine on the machine where the custom
paper size was created, but when we go to another computer
the report may or may not work correctly. For some reason
the paper size for the report no longer points to the 8.5
x 3.5 custom paper size (even though we created it on the
new machine prior to running the MDE).
Notes: If we go in and remove any other user-defined
paper sizes except for the 8.5 x 3.5 custom paper size the
report will work correctly. However, this is only a
temporary solution, and obviously isn't really an
acceptable long-term solution.
Thanks in advance for any information in this regard.
