Custom Maintenance Wizard results....where are they?

I just apply a .cmw file to an Office XP installation that changes the
Exchange server name for the default profile. I searched through the
machine's registry and couldn't find an instance for the new mail server
name. Where are these changes saved?
 
Mail profile details are in the Windows Messaging Subsystem key and will be in binary format, therefore not searchable in regedit.

Also note that the cmw file itself does not change the profile stored in the registry. It deploys a PRF file which will be applied (and make the profile changes) only when the user next runs Outlook.
 
Thanks for the explanation. I suppose I could look for the .prf file and see
if the changes were made there?

Right. You can also look in the .cmw file with the CMW Viewer
